BGA 300 Cordless Backpack Blower: Powerful professional blower for noise-sensitive areas

The BGA 300 is the first cordless backpack blower from STIHL for professional applications in noise-sensitive areas. Ideal for efficient cleaning of large areas, even with wet and heavy leaves, the BGA 300 has petrol performance blowing force on a cordless leaf blower.

With a reduced volume output which ensures a comfortable sound level that never exceeds 94 dB(A), the BGA 300 uses an innovative technology that significantly reduces the high pitched frequency that is usually associated with cordless blowers. It means it’s much more pleasant to use the BGA 300 in more densely populated areas, as bystanders in a 360° radius around the blower will be impacted less by the noise (however, ear protection is still required for the operator).

The BGA 300 has optimal energy management thanks to variable adjustment of the blowing power via four pre-defined power levels (Level 1-3/Boost) on the control handle.  Boost mode is designed for when you need extra blowing power. Plus, the LED display on the trigger handle shows you which mode you are on so you can control your energy management.

You can adjust the blower tube length on the BGA 300 quickly and efficiently with the quick-release connector. This means you can adapt the tube length to the type of area you are cleaning. Padded shoulder straps and a hip belt means the BGA 300 is comfortable to wear over long periods of use. It’s easy to adjust too!

NOISE REDUCTION SYSTEM

FOR QUIETER WORKING. This innovative technology significantly reduces the volume (sound power level) for residents and passers-by, meaning disruptive frequencies are minimised. Sound emissions are reduced at the turbine input in such a way that the leaf blower sounds quiet to surrounding people.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

FOR EVERY APPLICATION. Depending on your working requirements, the blowing force can be set to 4 levels, including boost mode. The selected level is indicated by the LEDs. Boost mode activates maximum leaf blowing power while the trigger button is held down, regardless of the preselected power level. You can optimise the battery runtime by selecting the appropriate power level.

CRUISE CONTROL

FOR LONG WORKING PERIODS. You can lock the throttle at any preferred position, even between levels. This relieves the strain on your index finger during longer periods of continual use.

QUICK ADJUSTMENT OF THE BLOWER TUBE LENGTH

FOR COMFORT WHEN WORKING IN TIGHT SPOTS AND CORNERS. The length of the blower tube can be adjusted quickly and easily for use in narrow work areas or corners. You can also open and close the fastening of the blower tube by turning the ring.

ERGONOMIC CARRYING SYSTEM

VERY COMFORTABLE TO USE. This high-quality, ergonomic carrying system offers a high level of comfort as you work. Its S-shaped shoulder straps and hip belt ensure a comfortable fit, improve weight distribution, and in this way support you during long periods of use in particular.

BLOWER TUBE HOLDER

TRANSPORT MADE EASIER. The clip lets you easily and securely attach the blower tube directly to the blower so you can effortlessly and easily transport it, without the tube getting in the way.

TOOLLESS HANDLE POSITION ADJUSTMENT

The handle position can be quickly adjusted without tools to suit the operator.

CONNECTIVITY (READY)

COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone, tablet or the STIHL connected Box that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions.
